This came from playing around with Manga Studio Debut, which I've had for several months now but never finished anything with. The character is just a pissed off schoolgirl (originally pissed off girl - I added the seifuku on the computer), since I was working on facial expressions. I think I went a little overkill with the A Brush tone, since I used that for all my shading on the hair/shirt/body, but whatever.
I started with a sketch and ended up with something that looks remotely like it could belong in a comic. Huh. Now if only I had the motivation to do more of this. XD;;
Who's Teruchan? XD;; But thanks - I worked hard on it!
Manga Studio Debut is software meant for creating manga pages - it has pens, markers, tones, etc, and is in general very useful. Although to get the best results Manga Studio EX or whatever the full version is is best. I don't draw enough to actually justify investing in it. ^_^;;
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
